Hispanic Business Roundtable Institute Endorses Candidates for 2016 Election Cycle

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The President of the Hispanic Business Roundtable Institute (HBRI), Hector Barreto, today announced the organization’s endorsement of Congressional and Senatorial candidates for the 2016 election cycle.

“The current economic and political environment often makes me wonder— is this the best of times or worst of times for the Hispanic community?” business leader and former U.S. Small Business Administrator, Barreto asked.  “The candidates that have earned the support of HBRI share a vision— they want the Hispanic community to consistently experience the best of times, not just today, but well into the future.”

HBRI endorses candidates that are proven allies of small business, support a strong free enterprise and show interest in advancing economic growth and job creation through sensible and less intrusive legislation.

The Hispanic Business Roundtable Institute is proud to endorse the following Congressional and Senatorial candidates for the 2016 election cycle:

Senatorial Candidates:

Senator John McCain (R-AZ)                                                     Senator Richard Burr (R-NC)

Danny Tarkanian (NV-3)

“Each of the individuals we are endorsing appreciates the unique opportunities that are available to all Americans – and to Latinos in particular – through small-business ownership,” Barreto explained.  “Each of them understands that government doesn’t create jobs, but it does create an environment that can be either friendly or hostile to the small businesses that do create the majority of net new jobs in this country.  We look forward to working with these government leaders who share the goals and values of HBRI.”
